Illuminate and Learn

Help me give my students the ability to make their own custom LED sign with new LED lights. Students will learn how to design using the corel draw program, then wire a circuit with a switch to illumiate it.

My Project

I teach in a classroom where every student can and will be successful. I have the opportunity of seeing every student in the school throughout the year due to the fact that I am a STEAM teacher and am part of our Unified Arts program. My class gives the ability for every student to develop a custom, one of a kind LED sign. We need LED ligts to do this.

With this project I have incorporated the use of fabrication tools in conjunction with electricity to help students develop useful life-long skills.

Due to the fact that the learning styles vary, so do their abilities, but with this project, I can vary the difficulty making every student successful! We will now be able to illumate the students custom designs and make it a project to be proud!

The possibilities are endless! We are able to bring real life uses into the classroom for life-long learning!
