This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

At our school, we are a tight-knit community of conscientious, hard working students and dedicated, caring teachers.

My History and Science students love to research, discover, conduct experiments, and create inspiring projects.

They are always excited to learn about new cultures, to uncover the origins of 'mysterious artifacts,' and conduct exciting research. My greatest joy is when they excitedly share something they have learned through their own self-directed investigations. Many of our students come from bilingual speaking homes with no access to computers and no internet connection.

My Project

My students enjoy learning with iPads and computer programs My classes are able to gain empowering skills at their own pace. They have very limited resources and need exciting and innovative ways to get them interested in STEM. By having access to an iPad, they will get to explore the world outside of the classroom.

We are so excited to have this resource to use, but we are lacking the iPads to use it on.

My classroom needs two iPads and kid-friendly protective cases so that we may use and access these programs in our classroom. This would help us make each student begin and continue to have a successful academic career throughout their time in our school and in their futures!
