Have you ever wanted a student to work on a specific skill instantly? Having an iPad with various apps in reading, writing, and math allows the students to access activities that will reinforce their learning in the classroom.
Our kindergarten is split into 2 half day classes.
There are approximately 27 students of mixed ability range in each class. Having an iPad to reach these bright and energetic 5 and 6 year old children would help to excel the students that are ready to move on as well as support and reinforce the struggling students. Our community has a stable population of learners, however, the accessibility to technology is lacking. Giving the students the opportunity to work on an iPad at school allows them to be actively engaged in their learning.
My Project
With an iPad in the classroom, the students will be able to immediately use the technology to build upon their reading, writing, and math strategies. Students will be able to reinforce the letter sounds, reading comprehension, writing letters and words, sight word practice, and basic math skills. The iPad can easily adapt to the students' needs. As we progress through the year, the iPad will also grow with the students needs.
Having this iPad in the classroom will allow many students the opportunity to enhance their educational journey.
iLearn through iPad is a great way to engage students in the classroom!
