Help me give my students access to the creative world of Apple products and applications through the use of an iPad and Apple Pencil.

I teach a group of uniquely talented 5th grade students. Each one of them is special in their own distinct way. At our school, we work together and celebrate each other. Nearly all of my students started at our school in Pre-K, so they know and exhibit the Six Pillars of Character on a daily basis.
My kids are avid learners.
Even when they struggle, they always try to give their best efforts, no matter what the task at hand is.
The majority of my students come from low-income families. They don't always have the means to participate in or do certain things at our school. As their teacher, I try my best to "meet them in the middle", but that doesn't always happen. I'm hoping that I can utilize Donors Choose to fill in the gaps when it comes to getting my students what they need.
The use of Apple products in education has been long supported by educators and students alike because of their advanced technology and ease of use. Research has shown that introducing iPads in classrooms has had a positive effect on the development of children's literacy and numeracy skills.
Students who use apps to study and play are more enthusiastic to learn.
Today's students are coming up in a tech-driven society, so the more access I can provide to technology for my students from low-income families, the better.
This iPad and Apple Pencil will be beneficial to both my students and myself. In the event that we return to 100% virtual learning, it can be used as a document camera. For children with cognitive delays, iPad apps can boost language use and social interaction. Students can use programs like Procreate and Storybird to create their own stories and illustrations using the Apple Pencil. The possibilities are truly endless.
