Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are IHS's Girls Lacrosse Team! We have a small group of dedicated girls on our team. Lacrosse is still a growing sport in this small community and we know our girls are proud to be a part of it. All of our players sacrifice a lot to be a part of this team because they love the game! We want to be able to provide them with t-shirts so they can represent this team with pride! Go Indians!
My Project
Our town is a small, farming community located in the rural area of Florida. Many families have limited funds available to contribute to their children’s extracurricular activities.
We want to purchase new equipment for the upcoming season.
Our girls need to feel like they are a part of a group where they truly belong. These shirts will help them start feeling good about being apart of this team and will help their confidence on and off the field.
We currently do not have team issued practice shirts. Many of our players wear their school shirts to practice. This limits their movements and can cause injury. It also, causes more wear and tear on their school clothes.
