My students are eager to learn.

They have an obvious passion for learning and I want to support their desire to learn in every way possible. Our school is a STEAM school so integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics present in daily instruction.

My Project

There is a growing focus on technology both in and out of the classroom. It is important to provide tools in the classroom that expose children to technology in order to prepare them for college and a career in our technologically advancing world. As a teacher, it is important that I am able to provide on-level and engaging instruction to each of my 27 students. These Kindle Fires will help me tailor to the individual needs of each student by allowing students to work on programs at their individual levels in both reading and math.

Many of my students are motivated and engaged through the use of technology.

The Kindle Fires will allow students to continue to strengthen their passion for learning by providing them with a fun, engaging, digital tool to use. YOU can help ignite our FIRE for learning.
