My Project
Currently, I work with a group of middle school students on a project-based learning business.
Students learn about hard and soft skills needed to run a business.
Our business is called Just Snip It. Students meet with clients, design products, implement price points to have a successful business, and sell products. While these are some of the activities they do, the skills they learn are endless. Instead of learning these skills from a textbook, students are learning by doing and that is what project-based learning is all about.
We were given a space to do our business, however, we do not have any quality storage spaces for our materials. With the addition of these storage units and countertop, the students will have a more productive place to create and produce their products.
