My Students
I teach at a Title I school in rural Georgia where over 75% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. I am fortunate enough to teach a set of students with a passion for life, music, and learning. As a math teacher, I know that the keys to their future and success lie within the school walls.
Despite the hardships my students endure in their personal lives, I believe that they deserve every opportunity and resource to be great.
All of my DonorsChoose.org projects are designed to enhance every lesson and alleviate any deficit they may face. In my classroom, I never want a student to feel inadequate because they do not have basic school supplies or the same opportunities as their counterparts. It is through donors like you that I can make this dream a reality and truly make an impact in my incredible students lives.
My Project
Recently, our Title I school has been granted the opportunity to go one-to-one with Chromebooks. We have embraced this gift of technology and utilize the Chromebooks in much of our daily activity. What's missing? HEADPHONES. A class set of headphones will allow us to truly take advantage of this wonderful resource. I have also included essentials such as Lysol spray (that will be used to disinfect the headphones, as well as aid in us from getting sick) and essential oils for the classroom diffuser. This is used daily to focus our minds and add pleasant smells to our warm environment.

are just a few of the benefits we enjoy, and I aim to make sure each student has the same chance as the next.
Although on the school-supply list, many of our students' parents were not able to comply with many of the requested items. Donors like you have made it possible for all of my students to have things that they need in order to make them successful.
