My Project

My students come from many different backgrounds. We are a Title I school with students from low-income households with 100% of our students receiving free lunch. We identify as 60% Hispanic, 35% African American, and 5% Asian. Our students do not have the resources for art instruction, so I would like to give them the opportunity to be creative and explore art.

Students will have the opportunity to use the art supplies and materials to express their creativity, emotions and imagination.

They are very energetic and love when the lessons are tangible. My students are eager to learn art. with these panels, markers, stencils, and other materials. The goal for my students is to learn the love of art by building knowledge and skills, while experiencing the joy of creating, drawing, among other art activities with their peers.
