Students are excited to arrive to the STEAM Lab and I am excited to welcome their smiling faces! Our lab is excited to host a Lego building club that will be using these supplies to develop their understanding of engineering concepts--Design, build, test!--and the associated math skills that accompany that learning. As students are playing, they are learning skills like empathizing with the end user, defining the problem, brainstorming and prototyping solutions, and persevering through failure. These are skills that will serve our students well into their futures as future engineers, designers, astronauts, and more!
