This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am lucky to have some of the most driven, creative and hard working students. On Friday afternoons during club time many of the kids expressed interest in starting a Lego Club. They were so excited to tell me that they wanted to build a city of the future. They had so many ideas of what would go in their city such as affordable housing, a post office, a library, a food truck area, and a large city park. They even had plans for where the mayor would live.

I would love to be able to make this Lego Club dream a reality so my future city planners can get to work!

Please help me get the materials I need to make this dream a reality.
