My students need to learn to build circuits with the Raspberry Pi kit and Little Bits Droid Builder Kit and be able to program what they build with the Ozobot.
I have some of the most inspiring and talented young minds come through my classroom each day, but a limited budget keeps me from pushing them to their full potential.
Students do their best work when they are immersed in a project and experience it for themselves.
Hands on experience is crucial to real student learning and shows them how things work in real world situations. It allows them to problem solve on their own and help each other find solutions.
My Project
The materials will allow my students to learn how to build and code in a hands on learning environment. Using the breadboards and Elegoo project the students will learn how to create functioning circuits. They will also learn how to combine them into a series and add LED lights to the mix.
The Ozobot and Droid Inventor Kit take that knowledge to the next step as they program their creation to complete tasks.
They will also learn how to make a functioning gaming console with the Raspberry Pi gaming kit.
The most important thing they will learn from this is what happens when they fail at programming. When their program doesn't work, they will learn to try again and keep trying until they figure it out.
