My Project

The use of whiteboards and rich print environment have been very crucial, especially after COVID hit. Students need support with models and access to word lists and information. My classroom has limited wall space so I'm unable to leave up word walls or information for the various learners for an extended period of time; I'm constantly writing only to find myself rewriting the same things again. Having movable "word walls" for my diverse learners will allow me to leave items up for continuous student access. This would lessen the stress on the students who work or write at different speeds. Also, all students will benefit from the models being up perpetually. This will hopefully strengthen self help skills, which were also stunted during COVID.

By donating to this project, you will improve and increase students' exposure to a rich print environment, and also provide opportunities for personalized practice.

Students will be able access information whenever they want by simply looking up at the whiteboards. In addition, the desk pocket charts will be used to customize learning centers in a COVID safe way for each child. Wherever you look, the walls will be talking!
