My Project

Small group instruction is where students get instruction tailored to meet their needs. At my my small group table is where students are supposed to get the most beneficial instruction they can possibly get— however keeping first graders engaged/focused during small group instruction is not an easy task! As adults, we know how it feels when we’re required to sit in an uncomfortable chair for a long period of time and 15-20 minutes feels like hours to my first graders! Flexible seating encourages students to stay calm, focused, and productive.

Comfortable students are engaged students!

The Otto stools will be PERFECT for my first graders! They will have a comfortable place to sit during small groups and, as a result, they’ll be more likely to stay on task and engaged in the lessons!
