My Students

My students are full of energy (which I love); however, the amount of energy can often times take away from the quality of their learning. My students LOVE to learn, dance, play and move around!

They are adventurous, full of joy, and energetic; my students give me a purpose.

Not a day goes by that they don't go out of their way to make another feel loved.They are constant reminders of WHY I am a teacher and how important my job is. Every day is a new day, full of laughs and learning! =

My Project

As a teacher. my biggest focus boils down to one thing: the students. What can I do to better the learning environment of my classroom to benefit each of my students? I truly believe one step to positively modify my classroom is through flexible seating. I don't know if you spend much time around 5-6 year olds, but boy do they have energy!! The variety of flexible seating like wobble chairs and balance balls will allow students the opportunity to release some of the extra energy they have stored up inside. My students will feel empowered to have a choice of seating as well as be more motivated and engaged.
