Kindergarten students love to learn, create and explore. My students are energetic, active, and enthusiastic learners who come to school everyday ready to learn. Many come from economically disadvantaged homes. My students face challenges in their daily lives that many of us could not imagine, yet they come to school with positive attitudes. Despite their low-socioeconomic status, my kindergartners are excited to come to school and academically succeed regardless of their family circumstances. I admire their enthusiasm and hard work.
My students are learning and exploring all day.
They are constantly moving and asking questions. Kindergartners are filled with such curiosity. My students are an asset to our classroom community and their individual strengths and talents are distinguishable traits that promote their achievement. As their teacher, I make sure to provide my students with a safe, caring, and rigorous learning environment. The goals I set allow them to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
I take pride in each and everyone of my students. I am thankful to be able to come to school everyday and work with these talented 5 and 6 year old's.
My Project
The wobble chairs, floor pillow cushions and reading cushions will be amazing assets to our classroom. They will provide comfortable and fun seating options for my kindergarten students during center time, independent reading or teacher led small group. Creating a classroom environment that is inviting and comfortable, is crucial to sending a positive message to students about their schooling experiences. My students will be look forward to using the colorful and soft pillow cushions as they read their favorite books independently or being able to sit on the wobble chairs during teacher led small groups.
The reading and the floor pillow cushions will provide a safe and enjoyable place for my students to sit, relax, and do their work in a more comfortable way.
The wobble chairs will help those students who have the wiggles to have more freedom, while still maximizing their learning environment.
