Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Being a student in today's fast-paced schools can be a challenge for students. My students are eager to learn new concepts and explore new possibilities. They love having hands-on, engaging activities to learn. These students are encouraged to take their learning to new levels each and every day as they expand their knowledge base and prepare for their futures.

My students deserve to have the technology resources which will allow them to reach their fullest potential in the classroom daily as they engage in meaningful learning experiences.

Our school has worked hard at overcoming the challenges that come with low-income backgrounds. We have used many resources to implement new technology in the last few years, including school-wide Wi-Fi. This iPad technology will allow my students to be engaged and actively participating in personalized academic instruction, as they strive to meet their greatest potential.

My Project

Students learn by doing and making. It will allow my students to work on individual learning goals, as well as integrated collaborative projects.

Instruction through the iPads will allow my students to read books, work on differentiated math skills and literacy skills, use SeeSaw, and learn through scanning QR codes.

Students will also be able to collaborate on integrated learning projects with other students creating all that they need in the classroom. The use of this i-Pad is endless and will even help all my future students. Technology is a powerful tool that can help shape their future in amazing ways!
