As a librarian it is my main goal to help instill in my students a love of reading and in the earlier grade levels that is at times very difficult because they get frustrated so easily with the task at hand. My proposal is one that is truly very simply in nature. I want to buy identification stickers and clear labels to secure them on the books that will allow my emerging readers to quickly and easily find a book that is a "just right reader" for them. Often we take for granted that all students are read to at home, that is simply not true. Many times students are forced to read alone at home and if they are unable to have a book that is "just right" for them, they will give up and never truly experience the joy that reading can bring to their lives; now and in the future.
