This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with special needs students in middle and high school. All of my kids have IEPs, with classifications of emotional disturbance, learning disabilities, speech & language impairment, and autism. I am the school nurse and need to keep a healthy stock of medical & therapeutic supplies for our student population.

I am requesting ice packs for sensory therapy and injuries.

Students often request ice packs when they're having an emotional crisis or panic attack. Additionally, ice packs are needed for injuries during sports and physical education. Thank you so much for considering a donation to our program.
