Help me give my students enhance daily instruction. The iPads will be used for both whole-group and independent learning activities.

My Project

My class consists of 11 eager-to-learn first-graders in a rural district. Our room is full of readers, writers, mathematicians, scientists, and dreamers. These iPads will be used to enhance their daily instruction.

I have been teaching for 10 years and I have found an iPad to be one of the most engaging and useful pieces of technology to have in the classroom--the possibilities are endless.

These iPads would allow students to collaborate simultaneously between iPads bringing learning to a whole new level! There are also certain learning programs that my students LOVE that are only available on Apple devices. I have also found that handheld devices, such as iPads, help my students with ADHD stay focused because of the hands-on nature of the touch screen.
