This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember listening to books on tape or CD? Do you remember sharing those same headphones with every other kid in the classroom? Here's your chance to help today's students have that love of hearing literature while not sharing broken, germy headphones!

My students learn at a Title I school, where 97% are on free or reduced lunch and over half are learning English as their second language.

They LOVE to be read to! They come from homes where there is rarely a computer, much less Internet connection for technology use at home.

My Project

Many of my students are learning to speak English. These ear bud sets will allow them to hear fluent English speaking and reading even when the teacher is working with other students. The splitters will allow them to listen with a partner without disturbing others in the classroom.
