My students are a rambunctious, but extremely sweet bunch of first graders. We are an under performing school in a Title I school district. My students deserve the very best, but unfortunately they are not getting it.
This year I have 18 boys and only 7 girls!
My students have a wide range of abilities but one thing they have in common is the need to move and be engaged in their learning. I want to do the best I can for them but I need some additional training in engaging a variety of learners.
In my 4th year of teaching I'm starting to feel comfortable in first grade but I am definitely needing some rejuvenation. Upon reading this on the website for the conference I was immediately sold. It says, "Need a teacher pick-me-up? Looking for some of the most current research based strategies that will light your classroom on fire? Join us in 2018 for Get Your Teach On – a one-of-a-kind experience for K-5 teachers. You will spend a day with Team Get Your Teach On as they share their passion and enthusiasm for education and give you their tips, tricks, best practices, and teacher secrets to building a successful, engaging, & RIGOROUS classroom. You will leave feeling empowered, motivated, and prepared to create dynamic lessons that will challenge your students and leave them hungry for more.
Get Your Teach On is sure to be unlike any other educators’ conference that you will attend.
Pack your favorite teacher bag, get ready for some educational magic, and join us in San Diego, California, as you prepare to Get Your Teach On! "
