This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students want to play like Bach...but we need some help! Music software would help them to learn at their own pace, feel successful and enthusiastic about music!

My students live in an impoverished, often times violent urban section of the city.

Most of them do not have access to technology at home and having access to it at school is extremely beneficial to their learning. My school is a title 1 school and we do not often, if at all, receive funding for extra additions in the arts/music classes.

My Project

My students will use these materials on keyboard workstations during class time. Student will work at their own pace when learning to play while others are using differentiated instruction to continue to learn music fundamentals while enjoying the topics presented.

Music makes a difference...Students need positive reinforcement and success in the arts can change lives!

Obtaining these materials will enhance student achievement in all grades during music classes well into the future.
