I Sense More Learning

My Students

I teach a range of learners in a Title I school. My classroom is only ELA and Social Studies so I have multiple groups of learners throughout the day. My students vary in their needs, abilities, backgrounds, and learning styles. Though they are all very different from one another, they share a commonality. They blow me away day after day with their willingness to learn and their desire to try new and hard things.

My Project

My students need opportunities to engage with their learning in different ways. My school has chosen a wonderful knowledge based curriculum. Each unit students focus on different topics. While this curriculum is wonderful - it is missing opportunities for students to explore and play.

Because students learn best when they can engage all of their senses - I'm asking for materials to create sensory bins that align with our units.

I have asked for items that go with each of our units and organizational materials to store these items so that they can be enjoyed for years to come!
