My Students

I am so lucky to be able to teach students who have been identified as gifted in Art. They are dedicated and passionate about our classes. Ours is a small school, where it is common for teachers to form close bonds with our students. Our population is diverse, with a familial feeling throughout our school. I can honestly say that I love every minute I spend with these amazing young artists. Just because you live in poverty doesn't mean you can't have the best in educational opportunities.

My Project

My advanced art students love to paint! Throughout the year, we work on individual portfolios to present with college applications. We also enter many art contests who award students with scholarship funding for college. I have chosen these small bottles of acrylic paints because they come in such beautiful colors, and they provide great coverage and opacity. These paints offer a wide variety of painting choices. They can even be used with mixed-media and as washes. I would love to help my students explore their best efforts through the use of these quality materials. Your kind donation would support my truly deserving students in a meaningful way, as they continue to find their own creative voices.
