Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My special need students are 99% low socioeconomic children who always give their best. Regardless of the students' limitations, socioeconomic status and learning disabilities, they are always willing to learn, create and explore through different interactive activities.
Students use the knowledge acquired and apply it to everyday life.
The majority of these students have limited resources at home and are eager to get to school to take advantage of the opportunities we provide. They do not allow their disabilities stop them from learning. They love to learn and share what they have learned.
My Project
Please help my classroom by giving a color printer for our special education preschool unit. We have 12 amazing special students who constantly depend on visuals to get through the day with ease. All of our students rely heavily on a picture schedules, picture cards, colored items taped to the floor to get them through routine, pictures of themselves taped to their cubbies to know where their personal items belong etc. It is imperative these visuals are easily accessible and large enough for all children to see and manipulate if needed. Your donations would impact a classroom in need and would make a difference in our students learning experience.
