My students need iPad's to utilize resources that they cannot normally access through the internet. These iPad's will come in handy as a station which will allow students to use educational apps to enhance their learning.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a first year teacher in a Title I school I have realized that my students face some challenges in and out of school. However, this is my first group of students and I can honestly say that they are the most precious and loving first graders I have ever met. I am so blessed to have such a diverse group of bright students.
Even after Hurricane Harvey my students come to school each day eager to learn and always try their best at everything they do.
My classroom is like my students second home and I want to make it as welcoming and positive as possible. I want to make sure they have every tool they need to be successful.
My Project
My students need iPad's to enhance their learning while making it fun at the same time. My kiddos LOVE station time therefore I want to add an iPad station to our rotations. They will be using the iPad's to access educational apps, resources, and educational programs (such as Istation and Dreambox) that we use on a daily basis.
I am certain that having iPad's will make learning more exciting for my kiddos.
It will allow for differentiation in the classroom as well as making learning more accessible to all students. In today's society using technology very common among kids therefore having these iPad's will be a positive addition to our classroom.
