Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Students in my classroom are active learners. They are very independent workers. Most come from a lower economic home and have very little resources at their disposal. I also have a lot of students who are bilingual and English is their second language. Students in my classroom are thinkers and problem solvers. They dive into all areas of the curriculum and read about it, explore it, question it, and develop a good understanding of the subject or topic we are learning about.
My Project
The headphones will be used with the classroom set of Chromebooks. They will allow the students to listen to books, presentations, and applications or programs with sound and not bother others in the room. Without the use of headphones the students often bother others and the room is very noisy and unproductive. The use of headphones will benefit the students' learning needs.
Students also need to use headphones to take parts of the state tests they are required to take.
The headphones we have are falling apart and broken. We do not have enough of the headphones for every student to have a set to use with their Chromebook. If you are able to help my students it would be greatly appreciated.
