Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Thirty-five students make up our fourth grade class. They are hard workers, respectful, and eager to learn. We set the academic bar high, and they rise to the occasion; with some surpassing the set goal.
We are a Title I school using technology and empowering our students.
The students thrive on taking charge of their own learning, creating projects, and discussing various events that are happening at our school. We show a love for reading, and our reading levels increase!
My Project
Everyday school supplies go quickly in our class as they are used daily. Pencils and paper are what our class runs on, as well as our Chromebooks.
Students absolutely love the colored lined paper!
It takes their attitude to "Oh we have a test to take." to "Yes! I hope I get the blue or pink paper." They are happy and ready to conquer that assignment. It is the simple things that help us through our day and contributes to our learning. Pencils seem very basic but most pencils do not last a week. The Ticonderoga Pencils last longer, sharpen easily, and have always been reliable.
