This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In this unprecedented time in the world, I am doing everything I possibly can to keep my kids participating and active in their own education. I keep them on a modified daily schedule, and they are doing well with the structure that I have created.

What I need are electronic tools to allow me to keep teaching my students and keep them on track for 5th grade.

I don't know what next year is going to look like, and I want to prepare to be able to successfully teach my kids with distance learning to the best of my ability.

My Project

As we all know, this pandemic came with little warning and has left many teachers, like me, doing our best to keep things normal for our kids. I was given little time to grab materials, and I am lacking a document camera to assist me in my teaching.

With this document camera, I will be able to better connect and teach my kids what they need to know by the end of the year.

Currently, I am scanning documents and spending way too much time typing in information and drawing pictures to help students learn. With this camera, I will be able to do a much better job working with them.
