As you can imagine some of my twenty-five third graders are still learning how to sit still during the day. I try to schedule opportunities where students are able to get up and move around the room to help get their wiggles out. Unfortunately, these transition times aren't enough for all of my students. Some of them need another outlet for their restlessness.
My students are bright and eager to learn new things, but for some their fidgety behaviors distract them from learning.
They are distracted from participating fully in our lessons through no fault of their own. Having Active Learner Stools will help these students become less fidgety and more focused on learning.
The wobble stools will be a great addition to my classroom to help my students focus their attention by allowing them to be active while still being settled into our classroom discussions and work.
Anyone that has been in a classroom with children has seen how difficult it can be for some of them to be still and listen- these stools will help overcome that challenge and give each child an opportunity to learn in an environment that fits their needs.
The wobble stools are light weight so students will be able to utilize them at both their desks, as well as, at our small reading group table.
