This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"One Day At A Time" These words are posted in my room as a constant reminder to my students that no matter the challenges we may face today, tomorrow is always a new day! I teach the students at the beginning of the year to just focus on today. We will handle tomorrow when it comes.

Next year I will be teaching an amazing group of second grade students who will strive to become well educated individuals.

A majority have been together since pre-k and have become one big family. The students truly care about one another and want others to succeed as much as themselves. The school and students are AMAZING!

My Project

iPods will provide my students with more individual instruction. The apps available can target a variety of learning styles to increase learning amongst all students using one device. Having one as a daily resource for students helps our classroom to become more interactive. The ease of having an app at hand for every need will also help with time. They will be able to expand their learning with a touch of a finger in seconds!

My students' desire to learn makes me want to provide every resource possible to make this happen.

I hope to eventually have a class set of iPods to provide my students with every opportunity available.
