I Heart Science!

Help me give my students preserved sheep hearts to dissect to learn about body systems and their interactions.

My Project

My students are amazing but have no real understanding of the human body or how the systems of the body work together. I want students to be able to have a memorable, hands-on experience to learn about the heart and body systems.

The dissection of sheep hearts will teach my students about their own bodies and perhaps help them to make good health choices as they grow older.

After the dissection, students will remember how the heart works with the respiratory system, the cardiovascular system, and other body systems to maintain life.
