My students need an instrument that is readily available at the school because most of their families can't afford to rent or buy instruments; in this case, we need a trombone.
At my school, 99% of the students in band are playing on school-owned instruments. This leads to a good problem to have. That problem? The band is growing, but there are not enough instruments to go around. What else does this mean? Breaking little boys' and girls' hearts when I run out of the instrument they wanted to play. Help to keep from having to break little boys' and girls' hearts and make it possible for them to play the instrument that they want.
So, what do I need? I need more instruments. Instruments are expensive. So, I am trying to do one instrument at a time to try and get as many funded as possible. If I grouped them all together, then I might never see any of them due to the whole project not getting funded. This time I'm going for a trombone.

My Project
This trombone will impact not just one...not just two...not even just three...but many children and students who come to school band each year in search of something fun, exciting, and better than the rest of their daily lives!
Students will be able to make beautiful music with the rest of the band when they have this lovely instrument in their hands.
Their happiness and joy will soar to new heights as they feel the rush of working towards a common goal with a whole group of other students whose sole interest is to create something spectacular and amazing out of music!
