My Students
My 5th grade students need a classroom library filled with books of all genres to help enhance their passion for reading. The classroom library is in need of books that challenge their thinking, spark their diverse interests and keep them engaged.
Help me create a classroom library full of diverse books to keep the passion for reading alive! My students are eager learners who love to read books of all genres. There are 2 different classes of roughly 30 students per class that walk through our classroom each day. With so many differing interests, it is my goal to get my students hands on books they will enjoy reading! By having a classroom library with books that peak their interest I hope provide students with enriching reading opportunities throughout the entire school year.
My Project
The addition of these books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. I hope each year our classroom library is a place that my students really enjoy. Every student book that is placed in my library is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind!
With these new books, students will be able to choose books that they are interested in, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading time. This project will not only help enrich their experiences with the printed word but also enhance their passion for reading!
