My Students
My kindergarten students are eager to learn, loving, VERY honest, and make my heart happy every day. My students come to me from a variety of backgrounds and with a wide variety of experiences. Every child in my class will learn together, even though they may be on differentiated levels.
Seventy-five percent of the students in my school come from low income households. We have a large population of English as a second language students. Each of my students is precious to me.
My Project
My students benefit from differentiated learning. Each child receives instruction on their specific level. Some learning time is teacher led and some learning time is independent. During independent time, my students need to be able to find the materials that were designed for them. The Answer Board Supply Center will keep our writing materials handy.
Color coding helps my students find the activity that has been designed for their specific learning goal. We need color coding materials to facilitate this. The construction paper I am asking for allows me to put each group's workjobs on a different color. Being able to locate and return their materials without assistance helps to foster confidence. The Turn In Your Work organizer will let my students know where their completed work goes. These items will help my students find their materials and activities independently and be able submit their work in the correct place.
