This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school is a Title I school located in the inner city of Atlanta. My students are a group of high energy students that love to stay engaged in things that will help them learn. They enjoy playing educational computer games and working with educational manipulatives to figure out new ways of solving problems. They are a driven set of individuals who embody the willingness to learn at its highest. Although their backgrounds are diverse, economically and culturally, they still have the drive to be the best no matter their circumstances.

My Project

The Fitness Exercise Cycling Bike Height Adjustable Standing Desk will make a difference in my students lives by helping them burn off excessive energy, while learning. I see me in them when I am teaching a lesson and they are able to focus more on what is being said. My students will be able to flex their bodies and their brains all at the same time. The health benefits the bike will promote are weight loss, muscle toning and strengthening, a health heart, burn calories, increase mobility, boost mental focus, and slim their waistline because they will not be sedentary, but mobile. Please help my students fight the battle of the bulge and live healthier lives, all while learning.
