My Students

The students at our school are amazing! They arrive excited to learn and become involved in whatever topic that is in the plan. We have wonderful support from our parents. We have a very diverse population of students, culturally, economically, and with different learning abilities. It has become my goal to try and stay ahead of them!

When we return to school in the fall our days will look different.

Instead of creating a classroom atmosphere full of collaboration and small group work, I need to prepare for individual activities. Instead of reinventing the wheel, I want to take advantage of the magnificent work that so many teachers have already created by using the products from Teachers Pay Teachers.

My Project

In the past I've been able to supplement our curriculum with some wonderful products created by other teachers and sold through Teachers Pay Teachers. Also referred to as TPT, this site is a wonderful resource for academic materials that meet the high standards of our school.

Creative and knowledgeable teachers that have created activities for science, social studies, language arts and math and have shared access to them through TPT.

These materials are colorful, fun and topical. I want to share these activities with my students. In the past my students have created book report balls with twelve sides (dodecahedrons), treasure maps that helped them learn the continents and oceans, as well as cards that get the students up and moving in the classroom while they learn to multiply.
