My Students

My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come from homes where English is not the primary language. Others live in poverty.

I always strive to make my classroom environment a safe and inviting place for my students to learn.

I teach at a community school where one hundred percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges they face, my students come in every morning eager to learn. I truly believe school is the best part of my students' day.

My Project

I have requested new kid-friendly headphones. These headphones will allow my students to use our iPads and computers to the best of their ability. We are using headphones that have been donated and they have seen better days!

My students always say "I can't hear the computer." because our current headphones have such poor audio quality.

The headphones will be used every day! My students are on iPads and computers every single day. We have curriculum on the computers that the students must complete. Our iPads are filled with educational apps and books. My students would love to use their technology with new headphones!
