My students need headphones for math work that is done on the computers. They also need them for taking tests on the computers and various other assignments throughout the day.

My Students

With a passion for learning, I want to give my students (two classes) all the opportunities to learn and grow at school. These students are bright and eager. All are low-income and are provided free breakfast and lunch. Many have big hurtles in their home lives that they so bravely overcome and soon learn that they are bright shining stars.

There are numerous needs in my classroom, but my most pressing need is for headphones.

I buy earbuds throughout the year for students as most don't have them provided by parents. These only last for a short time and are uncomfortable to their small ears. Having headphones that are properly suited for them would be a great investment into their lives!

My Project

The need for headphones is underrated. Students without them either must hear several computers at once and try to sift through the noise to focus, or turn the volume so low that they can't hear their own computer. These headphones will make a great difference in my students' ability to focus and learn in an up and coming technological environment.

These second graders have been blessed with computers, but the headphones are quite important as well!

Please help me give these precious students the environment they deserve to learn in. Thank you from the bottom of my hear! These are REAL students with REAL needs and you can make the difference!
