My Students

Welcome to K1!

My name is Ms. Ciras and I have a room full of 21 high energy, lovable, dancing, hard-working, caring, compassionate, and kind kindergarten students.

We work every single day to become better learners, students, and members of the school and larger community.

"Play, learn, grow" is the motto in K1, and are the three most important things to me within my classroom. Students need to have hands-on and engaging experiences, in order to grow. Please help us on our journey of growth and learning!

My Project

Bored at home? Scrolling through Facebook for the 50th time today? Looking for a good way to donate some money? It's your lucky day then because I have the perfect project for you! We are requesting headphones and supplies for our classroom. These include pens, dry erase markers, construction paper and more.

In K1 we use laptops daily to receive online instruction in both math and reading.

During this pandemic I have been working endlessly to create new centers and actives for my students. As I am working through these centers I am notice that we need things that will be helpful to my students, so I created this project.

My class does very well with new materials and when they have fun things to write with at their centers, such as new markers, pens, colored pencils, etc.

Please help give my students more materials, and give everyone an equal opportunity to hear their instruction daily!
