My Students

The students in my classroom come from a low socioeconomic background. We are a Title I school, most of our student are receiving free or reduced-priced lunch. Luckily, we have an awesome administration, school board and city council that will help provide our students with technology that will help them grow.

Our school is in a small rural town that has recently lost a mill where a lot of our students' parents worked.

Jobs are not abundant, so therefore people do not come to our town for job opportunities. We do not have a lot of income but we do our best to provide for our students through grants and any opportunity that comes our way. We are fortunate enough to have one-to-one Mac Books in our classrooms for students. The students in our school are very kind and humble children who love the opportunity to learn and explore through technology.

My Project

The students will be able to use the materials I'm requesting daily on their Mac Books and nightly at home. The Istation program will give my students the opportunity to work at their own pace and with interesting material that the students will enjoy. Istation will allow my students to work on math, reading, and language skills at school and at home.

This computer program will motivate my students to learn new things in new ways.

This program will engage the students to want to work at a longer length and with more challenging material.
