My Students

Our class is full of enthusiastic and curious 2nd graders! One of my favorite things about them is how they love and accept each other. When they built their social contract they made sure to agree that in this classroom you get to "be yourself." They show this amazing kindness and understanding to each other on a regular basis in the way they support each other socially and academically. I find myself looking around the room and thinking to myself, "How did I get so lucky to have these kids in my life?"

My Project

This document camera will serve students whether they are learning at school or at home. It will also give us many options to share student work on the big screen, model writing and problem solving live with students, and more.

Simply put, this makes it easier for us all to see clearly when we're working!

Thanks to many generous donations we gained a class set of headphones a few years ago. They are amazing, and we love them, and some of them are starting to break down. So the 10 new sets will serve as replacements as time takes its toll on the class set. This project will help us to see and hear clearly so we can get to the important business of learning!
