Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work in a very high needs school in the Bronx. We have limited learning tools and books. I am looking for ways to make learning more accessible to my students.

My goal is to bring the world of reading, math, social studies, science and writing to their fingertips.

In the world my students live in, stability is hard to find. I do my best to create a stable and secure learning environment for my students. Many students in my class don't have a stable home life. I provide this for them each day and make their lives as full as I can.

In my class, we practice growth mindset and think about how we can grow academically, socially, and emotionally each day. Your contribution can help them, too!

My Project

In my class, space is tight. We don't have much room being that it is a small classroom and there are so many of us in it. This Lakeshore Cart will enable me to have a space to place my laptop and Elmo Document Camera while teaching. Unfortunately right now, there is no room for everything.

Technology is limited in my building.

I am lucky enough to have a document camera and a laptop. Unfortunately there is no where to put them though. I am often teaching with my materials on my lap.

This piece of furniture will help me for the next 20 years to come! Thanks in advance.
