My Students

This year, I am blessed to have the kindest and most thoughtful group of fourth graders I’ve ever had in my 13 year career.

My goal is to create a fun sanctuary for my students to fall in love with school and learning.

I tell them day in and day out that I will give them my very best because they deserve it! We are lacking in a few classroom essentials and I’m hopeful that through the generosity of others we will be able to fulfill these needs.

My Project

We need a document camera in our classroom so we can project graphic organizers, foldables, and work samples to allow all students to see the material clearly! I teach math, science, and social studies and I find a need for a document camera daily.

Currently, my students are creating a timeline of the events leading up to the Revolutionary War and it is difficult for my students to follow along.

Additionally, we utilize guided notes and graphic organizers for instruction and having access to a document camera would allow students to better follow along. It is also my hope to allow students to project their own works under the camera and cultivate leadership skills by leading and teaching the class.
