My Students

We are ready to ready to learn! My students are hungry for learning. They have lots of questions and love to examine everything. My group of first graders try very hard everyday to do their best even though they may have many challenges in their young lives.

They frequently go without needed items, school is a place where they know what to expect and what they can count on.

I try to make the classroom as enriching of an experience for them as I possibly can.

My Project

The document camera will make it easier to share lessons with my students. Our new reading and writing program requires us to use a document camera for many lessons. With a document camera I can project a lesson, a book, or a writing sample up on a screen, a wall, or any clear space so all my students can see.

The children are so happy when they can see everything clearly.

The document camera makes it easy to project images in a larger view. Now when I read a story and need to highlight a passage everyone can see what is being highlighted.
