Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have the privilege to spend my day with twenty-one, enthusiastic and energetic little learners. I teach at a Title I school where ninety-six percent of my students live in poverty. Many of my students come from a traumatic home life and they have experienced situations that little people should not have to worry about. My goal is to provide each one of these little learners an engaging and safe environment that will help them find a love for learning and life!

My Project

My students need an iPad and iPad case to use during literacy and math centers. During literacy centers, my students use the iPad as a listening center and to play phonics and vocabulary games. They will also use them during math centers on a school math program.

By incorporating iPads in the classroom, students will learn to research and create projects at an early age.

Students will have the opportunity to experience technology in a educational setting and problem solve as they collaborate while creating projects an the iPad. This project will also allow my students to become more marketable in the future world of technology.
