This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergarten is an exciting year for little learners. It is the year where students get the solid foundation they need to be successful in elementary school. I am at a small Title I elementary school in Nevada. I have a diverse group of learners that all have one thing in common: they love to learn!

Kindergartners love to explore and learn best using technology and hands-on materials.

They amaze me everyday by how much they learn. I am always looking for ways to make learning more engaging and interactive for my little learners.

My Project

My students use technology for learning everyday. They love to listen to stories on iPads, play educational games, and practice reading and math skills on the computers. The problem is my students need good quality earphones to use the devices. Most students cannot afford to bring high quality earphones to school.

My kids need a class set of earphones!

Each student will keep his or her pair in ziplock bag to prevent them from getting tangled and damaged. They need quality headphones that will last.

The use of headphones in our class will create many opportunities for my students for years to come.
