Help me give my students the accessories needed to successfully complete their assignments on their chrome books. Head phones will give students an opportunity to block out distracting noise and focus when listening to math videos.

The students that I have been blessed to teach are very eager to learn, develop, and grow individually as students, life-long learners, and citizens. I am able to work with students every day from different backgrounds who are interested in going into the fields of Informational Technology, Health Sciences, and Engineering. Within my class, we explore the relationships between Math and college and career fields.
These students are motivated to learn more and make connections to the real world and what their next steps will be.
We work together to fuel their passion for learning and exploring through their academic journey.
When school districts issue Chromebooks to their students, they often forget the accessories that are designed to enhance the students learning. These accessories include headphones, computer mice, and flash drives. Although grateful to have access to a Chromebook, students in my class cannot afford to purchase the accessories that goes with the Chromebook that will aid in their success as a student.
Often times students loose focus in class due to many distractions out of their control.
Their are students who have been diagnosed with ADHD or ADD which causes them to become easily distracted in their learning environment. In class I utilize computer programs that require students to listen to the concepts being explained. The headphones will give students a chance to block out the noise in the classroom so that they can focus on what is being spoken on the online program. Flash drives serves as a place students can store their working documents on for class without having to redo the entire assignment or finish the assignment in one setting. Students with either a learning disability or physical disability often have trouble utilizing the mouse pad that is on the chrome book. Therefore giving them a wireless mouse in which they can easily control will minimize their frustrations in completing the assignments being asked of them to complete.
These accessories may seem simple to some but students who come from a low socioeconomic status or have a disability, these accessories makes a world of difference in their academic success.
