My Students

I currently teach in an Integrated Kindergarten setting.

I have 8 students that require Specially Designed Instruction through the support of an Individualized Education Plan and I have 11 typically developing peers.

As we embark on a new school year my hope is to create an inclusive environment and build a classroom community that inspires students to strive to do their best to be successful and to become life-long learners.

My Project

My students excel when working on individualized academics. They excel when they are being challenged and even when they are working on something that they are stuck on and need to grow their brain muscles in.

With one more iPad, the students in my classroom will be able to access individualized programs such as Lexia, MyOn, ST Math and many apps on a daily basis during our technology integration.

With more headphones, all students will be able to access this individualized instruction in a quiet and focused manner.

Lexia is designed to provide personalized learning for students of all abilities in the area of reading.

ST Math is designed to teach math concepts visually.

MyOn gets kids excited about books AND reading books!

All of these things are possible, every day, for each of my students, with one more iPad and these headphones.
